About Us

Our origin

Our community was forged on January 28, 2020, under the leadership of Md. Moniruzzaman Prodhan (known as NomanProdhan). From day one, Knight Squad has been a team effort — organizers, challenge authors, infra engineers, moderators, and mentors working together to make ethical hacking more accessible and impactful.

On January 20, 2022, the team hosted KnightCTF 2022 — the first international CTF organized from Bangladesh. On July 20, 2022, we launched BDSec CTF, expanding our annual competitions and strengthening our global community of players and creators.

Our New Logo

Our new logo is more than a visual change; it reflects how we’ve grown since 2020 — from a small crew to a coordinated team of builders and mentors — staying relevant, pushing boundaries, and adapting to an ever-changing security landscape.

Today and onward

Year after year, Knight Squad proudly hosts KnightCTF and BDSec CTF, offering platforms for ethical hackers worldwide to showcase their expertise, tackle challenges, and connect with a global community. None of this is possible without our contributors — writers, designers, reviewers, ops, and moderators — who keep the wheels turning.
